The inspiration for this sweater came from my friend Diane who believes that, “Everyone needs to have a white sweater!” As I was thinking about how to design a sweater for her granddaughter Kayla, I decided I wanted it to be a little special. This one has lots of pretty feminine touches in the eyelet design traveling up the center front, lace panels on the sleeve and beaded ribbing, giving it a dressy look.
Sizes: 6(12, 18, 24) months.
Chest size: 18(19, 20, 21) inches
Changing seasons always causes me to think about sweaters; whether spring or fall, cozy cables are appropriate. This sweater reminds me of the nature walks that we like to take, with all the textures of the mossy woods.
It is a very textured pattern, knit in the round with no seams.
I used the percentage system by EZ to design, and the cable patterns are from The Harmony Guides Arans and Cables. It is a very easy pattern to memorize making knitting a breeze.
