Terms and Conditions
Please read carefully the following as by purchasing a pattern from this site you are agreeing to the following terms.
Copyright: Copyright refers to the entire pattern content. All patterns and pictures featured are the property of the author. No part of the information provided may be copied, sold or otherwise distributed without express permission of the copyright holder, Jenny Snedeker, Cutie Pie Designs. If you wish to share, please provide a link back to my site.
Licensing: Licensing refers to what is done with the product made from a copyrighted pattern. By purchasing a pattern from Cutie Pie Designs you are purchasing a licensing agreement to use the pattern to make and sell a limited amount of finished items. This does not apply to mass production, but only to independent crafters individually producing the garments.
If you are making the items for charity there are no restrictions, I encourage knitting for charity. If you are selling the finished items, then giving credit to the designer would be appreciated, by indicating the designer's name and website on a tag. If you wish to make more than 20 items from one pattern in one year, please contact the designer.
Sizing Information
After years of making children's garments, I have developed my own set of sizing standards. These measurements have been taken from various sources and compiled into a customized list. I provide them here for your information and guidance in choosing which size to make for your child.
Measurements are based on actual body sizes plus appropriate ease for the type of garment. In other words a sweater would have less ease than a jacket which is meant for outer wear. And a dress meant to be worn next to the skin would have less ease than a sweater.
Make sure to check the finished measurements for the size that you wish to make to ensure a good fit. Lengths may be changed to accommodate personal tastes.
