I am a 57 year old GramMa to 11, Great-GramMa to 2, Mom to 2 and step-Friend to 3. Live with 3 fur babies that run our house.  Happily married to an enabler for 11 years now.  We are 'sorta' retired living in the Heart of Texas just to the West of Fort Hood Army Base where my hubby retired then continued to work for the Post for another 20+ years.

I was named after the sewing label of the factory that both my parents worked at when I was born, so you can see that fiber has been a part of my life forever!

When in Jr High a couple of my friends and I decided that knitting might be something fun to try.  So we managed to find an unsuspecting lady to teach us.  I have been knitting now off and on for over 40 years!

I took over the job as "Matriarch" of gifts after my Great-Aunt Nina Day then my Mom passed away.  They both taught me that "new babies in the family must be welcomed with something made with love".....

As I said earlier....my hubby is my enabler....He keeps me supplied with yarn, fabric, needles, time and love.
