The inspiration for this sweater came from Kayla’s Grandma Diane who says, “Everyone needs to have a white sweater!”

 This one has an eyelet design traveling up the center front, lace panels on the sleeve and beaded ribbing making it perfect for special occasions, or leave out the beads for everyday wear.

This pattern was test knit by Janice Faircloth

There are two files in this pattern; one has the written line by line instructions, and the other has the charts for the lace patterns.  If you do not need the charts then you can just download the instructions.

A hooded sweater for when they want to get out and explore!

This will help the transition from fall to winter, or winter to spring for your active children.
Worked as a pullover with a placket opening on the front,this one has sleeves that are detachable so Mom can compromise when they want to go
without a jacket!

Sized from 12 months up to 8 years for matching sweaters for siblings.

♥Finished measurements: Chest approx 24 (24, 26, 28, 30) inches
♥Front length approx 13 (14.25, 15.5, 17.5, 19) inches
♥Yarn: Knit Picks City Tweed Heavy Worsted 55% Merino wool, 25% superfine alpaca, 20% Donegal tweed; 164 yards/100 gram ball
MC: Chipmunk 3 (3, 3, 4, 5 ) skeins CC: Toad 1 skein all sizes
♥Needles: US 7 and 9 24” circular, US 7 and 9 straights or dpn's for working sleeves, or sizes needed to obtain gauge
♥Gauge: 17.5 sts and 26 rows = 4” in diagonal seed st; 18 rows and 26 rows = 4” in fleck st
♥Skills needed: knitting in the round, simple intarsia color work
♥Supplies: yarn needle, 1-3 shank buttons for the vest, 10-14, 3/4” flat buttons for the sleeve

This is a cute little poncho, just the right thing to throw over her shoulders when the sun goes down and the air starts cooling off. 

Worked from the top down, there are no seams to fuss with.

Delicate and feminine, this dress is perfect for summer parties, with scallops on the hem and daisies on the bodice.

Made in an easy-care cotton blend in summer-sky blue with white accents, it is a dress you will reach for again and again.

Don’t put this away after the summer – it will be just as pretty layered over a t-shirt for cooler weather.

This pullover begins with a vertical cable strip which wraps around the chest and then the body and yoke are picked up and knitted on. 

The overlapped boat neck insures an easy on/off fit.  

Pair it with the beanie and it becomes a great fall sweater set.

 ♥Gauge:  21 sts and 24 rows = 4” (10cm) in Reverse Stockinette Rib
pattern;  20 sts = 3” (7.6cm) in
Sand and Wind Cable pattern.
Both swatches worked on larger
needles.

Big, bold I-cord daisies on a bold, bright background are reminiscent of the flower power craze
of the 70s, and make a fun dress or tank top
for the summer. 

Make the shorter length for a tank top to wear
with shorts.

The recommended yarn is an easy-care cotton/acrylic blend for a wear-everyday-dress.
